Since the end of the 1980s
Stéphane Manzone, aka RJS, has been a pioneering figure in electronic music in southern France. DJ, event organizer, and mixing enthusiast, he quickly developed a love for Deep House, House, Progressive House, Techno, and other musical styles, always believing that when the music is good, the style doesn’t matter—what counts is the right moment.
He began his career in collaboration with Sound System DJ Shop, run at the time by DJ Cedrix now M&Mme Benoît and associations such as Les Salles Gosses, Molécule, Afterbong & Dragon Ball.
He has shared the stage with international legends like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, DJ Deep, Derrick Carter, Dave Clarke, Pete Herbert, Soldier of twilight , Djulz , Carlos Cruz …as well as many well-known Portuguese DJs including DJ China, DJ Vasco Fortes , Nuno Di Rosso, Carlos Manaça, Rui Vargas & more.
VENUE FEATURES
Stéphane has performed at numerous parties, afters, and festivals across Europe. In the 2000s, he owned the famous Lounge Café bar in Lagos, Algarve, nationally recognized for its excellent service and electronic music programming, while also managing three music stores in south Portugal and in Spain.
At the same time he collaborated with The Alternative Project producing iconic events such as Banho 29 at Meia Praia, World sand Sculptures expo, The famous Caniço parties in Alvor.
GPS Foundation
Co-founder of GPS Foundation in Portugal and Spain, after a few years on stand-by, the association has resumed activity with enormous energy, regrouping RJS (Fr), DJ Voodoo Lopez (Sp) , and DJ Clove (Pt) ( https://www.prodjclove.com/ ) to continue and expand the project.
RJS , VOODOO LOPEZ & DJ CLOVE continues to develop the electronic music scene while collaborating internationally with Doog Lounge Radio in Minneapolis (usa).
